San Antonio Rattlesnake Festival

Started in 1967 as a family fun day by the now defunct San Antonio JC’s, the San Antonio Rattlesnake Festival is now into its 45 year. Rattlesnake and Gopher Enthusiasts, Inc. (R.A.G.E.) is a 501(c)(3) organization. R.A.G.E. acts as a community chest by donating the proceeds from the festival to local school and church organizations, and other 501(c)(3) organizations. At least 60% of the donations has to be given to youth and educational organizations.

R.A.G.E. (Rattlesnake and Gopher Enthusiasts)  holds the Annual Rattlesnake Festival in the beautiful San Antonio City Park in Central Florida. 

Dates: It is always on the third Saturday of the month of October. 

Our mission is to organize an event that will provide good, wholesome, affordable family entertainment, also including educational programs, exhibits and information concerning the environment.

Register for the Rattlesnake Run. Join hundreds of other runners as they make there way through one of the most beautiful areas in Florida.  

At this years Rattlesnake Festival free shuttles are available from the parking lots. Free convenient parking. Free continuous entertainment. Free crafts fair. Free Children’s Games. 4x4 Show and Classic Cars on Sunday. Come see Cowboy Tom and others perform on 2 stages and throughout the park. Live craft demonstrations.

Affordable mock gopher tortoise races, petting zoo, pony rides and a pancake breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings at Saint Anthony's Parrish Center.

Prices, Events and Entertainment are Family Friendly! We're looking forward to music, dance, karate demonstrations and so much more.

Proceeds benefit local youth and other charitable organizations.
